There are a number of government protected companies.
Perodua, Naza, Inokom.
If Proton dies, Perodua becomes the new Proton, then Naza, then Inokom.
If Proton takes 20 years to die, then Perodua another 20 years and so on, we'll never live to see the end of it.
The only way to save ourselves is by supporting Proton. Its better if we can somehow kill off Proton's suppliers of low quality components so the better ones can get in (remember its always the lowest bidder wins). Proton is an assembler at a macro level, they dont manufacture at the micro level.
